My name is Sergii Kryzhanivskyi, I’m – attorney, honoured lawyer of Ukraine, as well as vice-president of the International Fund for Ukrainian lawyers. At this time, I practiced law in the Lawyers association “Kryzhanivskyi & partners”, which I chair, is also engaged in political science and political consulting. Born in October 1, 1961 in Shepetivka Khmelnytskyi region. In 1978 finished Litky high school Brovarskyi district, Kyiv region. I began my career turner Kiev plant named “Lepse”. Later i also worked, electrician at the plant “Kievgorsvet”.
In October 1979 i was called to active duty in the Armed Forces of the USSR. As a child I wanted to become a professional soldier, and it was realized in September 1980 when I was enrolled in the Novosibirsk Higher Military-Political Combined Arms School. In 1984 I received a qualification: “officer-political worker” and “teacher of history and civilization”. From 1984 to June 1989 he served in the airborne troops of the USSR. On my account 124 parachute jumps.
There are also work experience in law enforcement – until August 1990 i served in the Department of Internal Affairs in Kyiv. A new stage in my life began with the admission in 1990 on the Law Faculty of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. In October 1998 I qualified as a lawyer.
My main specialty is criminal law, however, during the years of practice I have great expertise in the subjects: immigration, constitutional, economic, civil, international, copyright, patent, finance law and other areas which are connected with the protection of human rights and interests.
For me, the most important specialty has always been, is and will remain – the protection of human rights. In my opinion, to protect the interests of a person who becomes a client for me, success is not important for the success and the manner in which this success is acquired. Importantly, that respects the dignity, honor and moral standards.
No coincidence that the logo of Corporation “A.D.K. – Ukraine”, which combines th, depicts a compass, which symbolizes the movement to the client, ie the person who needs help. No less interesting was my job on an honorary adviser to the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, adviser to the Minister of Emergencies and Affairs of Population Protection in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. And today I am an expert board of the National Security and Defense Council on issues of information policy and information security. For the first time in Ukraine, I realized the project of free virtual legal assistance, creating a website www.911.kiev.ua.
Since 2003 I have been gradually carried out its long-standing goal is to create: “Service information assistance”, as well as the creation of a universal service fund information to ensure citizens’ rights, social protection and business development. Thus, to this office joined forces Ukrainian lawyers to provide legal assistance to citizens and organizations.
At the beginning, when Ukraine was only adopted independence, the President issued a decree on the establishment of information to the population of the country. Unfortunately, it was not implemented at the appropriate level, in my opinion, purely because of the resistance of individual ministries and agencies, who feared losing their profits. … If this service is earned in public administration, it would bring many benefits for the whole country.
Among other things, I always take an active part in international seminars, conferences, symposia, representing Ukraine as an important and reliable partner of the international community. I firmly believe that in political terms Ukraine is relatively high position, being a bridge between east and west.
I am convinced that the future of our country depends not only on superior leadership in Ukraine, but also from ordinary citizens. After all, if the dialogue between the state and its citizens, the country is moving forward only to new and favorable conditions that will satisfy both parties and the government and citizens. Let this path now, is not easy, but as they say – the road by walking.
